After seeing all your grows throughout this thread this is a nice compliment!
Here's some Pearl Oysters, Fried Oysters , King Blues, Blue Oysters, Golden Oysters, Lion's Mane
Some growing in tubs inside like Goldens, some buckets and bags outside, and a bunch in garage tent.
Just kinda wingin' it right now to see what works best.

Nice man its awesome seeing those big pinsets pop outta the bucket. Are you fruiting it inside? I know my Blues made it through a couple frost just now outside but its definitely a little colder where you are in Oklahoma.
The Fried Oysters were easy to make if you guys are interested. Easy to cover in the batter and everything. Dont have to use much oil either just use a small pot with about 1-2 inches of peanut oil. This was recipe I used, gonna experiment with different batters now - https://cookingwithayeh.com/wprm_print/9921

Nice dude, what are your temps? I have yet to bust out the Pink Oysters because I know I'll be growing them plenty once Spring and Summer hit here and have to get all the cold loving varieties cookin' before its too hot!

Yes, been fruiting inside at room temps. Basically all I did was put a trash bag over the bucket during colonization. To induce fruiting I just cut small holes around the humidity tent(aka trash bag lol). While misting into the bag twice a day to keep up humidity. Like I said this is my first attempt at growing gourmets so im still at that trial and error stage.

Normally my temps are about 60 to 70 something. Not too consistent but it's what I can do right now. What mushrooms are you growing right now in the colder temps? I'm pretty new but so far I just have some lions mane jars going and I want to get some enoki and king oyster LC pretty soon!

Looks good but you're gonna want to keep the bag off at this point and just mist more frequently. They'll grow all stems if you keep the bag on.

I was worried about low FAE, that's why I cut holes in the humidity bag when it started fruiting. Your right though, makes more sense now that the fruits are plugging the holes to just give them all the fresh air they can get and just keep the fruits themselves from drying out.
Thank you so much for the tip.

Yeah the critical stage to give perfect humidity is while the pins are forming. You have a nice pinset so now is the time to give them plenty of fresh air and not worry about 100% humidity.

My first attempt at gourmet. Lion's mane sounded delicious. Here's some wbs with 1ml commercial LC into each of 2 jars.

It looks like they are ready for sawdust.

First grow of blue oyster, I was worried about lack of air exchange in my 5gal bucket so removed the lid.
Finally seeing some pins both on the top and through the holes.
Next grow I will make 3 changes: 1) no trash bag liner 2) more holes 3) bigger holes
We fail and we learn
Edit: have also removed the handle now from this bucket

I think I might finally have a handle on growing these! They are supposed to be "portobello" mushrooms. I have yet to see any get the size of the ones int he store, but progress is progress and they are no less delicious!
They actually really aren't that difficult to grow. What IS difficult is the prep work required to grow them - AKA compost! I started on the compost back in like September or October. From start to finish, the composting process really should only take a few weeks. Despite my best efforts, I could just never get it to get sufficient hot to compost that fast.

Edit: is there a problem uploading pics at the moment? When I click on the below it says image is deleted. Anyone see them?
How do you think these blue oyster fruits look?

To me they are a bit dwarf-like with caps appearing to open while small, and more mature fruits getting a bit leggy.
Have put them outside because my tent probably wasn’t exchanging enough air. Outside temps are about 10C / 50F during the day. Maybe I should bring them in at night, or tent them to protect a bit against frost?
Maybe shouldn’t have taken off the lid. Expecting a ton of aborts

Yea you didn't need to take the lid off but its not a big deal either...I almost did the same thing with my first bucket.
Blues will do really well outside right now depending on where you are. You don't need to bring them in for frosts, but I don't know if it gets significantly colder than say 28F, if you'd want to bring them in or not.
Looks good dude.
Those Portabellos look great man. Looks like straw under there?
