You might be better off fruiting in vitro with just a few holes poked up top depending on your filter rating on the bag. Enoki love c02, gives them the long skinny look, better texture and shelf life, less slime. Those look cool tho! I had a vendor telling me the gold and white enokies we're the same kind and that it was light that gave them their pigment.
Those weren't grown in the dark were they?

grown under artifical led light.. i did have a bag with more holes poked in top, in high c02 environment, didnt do as well. the open sliced bag fruited better.. i took a ton of prints of these fruits and have about 7 or 8 isolates i'm going to test out. will certainly try the top slit fruiting method and side slit fruiting on future project.

First time growing oyster mushrooms. They got really leggy since I fruited in a SGFC. I thought if I made bigger holes in my SGFC it would be enough, but clearly they still need more fae.

Two Weeks of King Oysters in a Monotub [Re: Farm3r] 3

Some shots of King Oyster Development in a monotub over about a two week period. The lid was removed for the last week and the entire container placed in my fruiting tent. This grow was done in parallel with an identical tub without the lid removed. The one with the lid left on didn't develop. I finally removed the lid and they resumed development.
Grown on about 2 Kg hydrated, unsupplemented pasteurized bagged hardwood mulch from lowes. 1 quart wheat spawn.

Usually when it has white on the end it is still growing, but from the looks of that cake it may have dried out and aborted. But if it's still growing just harvest when the white ends varnish over and it stops.

This is going to be epic [Re: Farm3r]

Epic for me anyway! I think I finally just about figured out how to (somewhat) control the pinset! This is probably one of the most uniform pinsets I've had.
Composition:
85% Wheat Straw (Not 75% - I can do math, I swear) 15% Alfalfa Pasteurized
Total Dry Weight of Starting Material. 2 Kg (4.4 lbs) Estimated hydrated weight: 8.5 Kg (~18.5 lbs)
Straw log measures about 13" in diameter by about 18-20" long
Worst case scenario I should get about 3lbs of fresh mushrooms off the first flush. Best case 4-5 lbs!

I cloned this blue oyster from the grocery store, and ended up waiting too long to cut the bag, so they went hentai tentacle porn mode and put out two flushes in the bag.
The fruiting chamber I have that would be most appropriate for them is currently filled with actives, so I cut an X and moved them to the garage.
It worked out pretty damn good. These caps are way bigger than the ones the mushroom farm provided the grocer.

My first attempt with lions mane. 50/50 hardwood fuel pellets and soy bean hulls. Fruited in a SGFC.

I was banging my head against the wall trying to get these enokies to fruit but they dicidied the best place is a random hole at the bottom of the bag, it's like they are giving me the middle finger

Moved recently and found this lions mane plug spawn from maybe 5 years ago I never used. What blew my mind is when I opened it up to throw it in the compost it still smelled like fresh, alive mycelium! Maybe the smell just preserved in the bag
The back stuff is coffee grounds on the outside btw, I dug it out of the foodscraps I was about to take outside lol

Should work, might need to be sealed more all around. But I did something similar recently for cubes. Would work better with gourmets because the added airflow will keep it more consistent than the tent I had with like no airflow. Best of luck! 7.5
