Cool, let us know how the chanterelle sprays go. They are so abundant here I have no desire to ever cultivate or spread them haha.
Temps have finally been declining, the last of my maitake has been harvested and its about damn time to get back to the ol' predictable blue oyster

Just my first round there, Im trying to really space out the fruiting times this year. Inoculated more grain today so there should be at least a 2 week delay between bag sets.

I'm my experience the least amount of ducting is best. Not sure about everyone else but in my area some pink bacteria(?) Will grow in the humidifier and ducting even tho I clean it weekly. Short ducting that's easy to clean makes sense.

Cleaned my exhaust fan today.. probably should do it more often than once every six months

If this response was for me:
I'm just playing with my system to see how they run, I'm definitely going to dial things back. My fan/fogger kick on too often.
I'm going to fill that rack and possibly another one. 4 or 5× 5lb bags per shelf, x 4 shelves...so probably about 20 or see and see what happens.

Word. Ya ive messed with cycle timers but went back to an inktbird controllers after i really understood it. If the inkbirds get too wet they stick, but if you have your humidity on the lower end its not really a problem. Just saw the fog and knew you had a timer, youd be bound for mopping soon ha, and that standing water can cause problens quick, esspecially without a floor drain. Im sure youll get it set up great. Nice to see you over in gourmet!
I got some decent cultures if you want any.

Yea. Anything with metal housing is going to rust out because of moisture. I learned this the hard way when the bitch stopped running. So I bought a couple of these.

It's a washroom ceiling fan, should be gtg for a while, they're designed to withstand high moisture levels. I'm not concerned about the housing, the actual fan assembly is what I'm concerned about, all plastic so it should be gtg.
My tent is 112 ft³, so it's pretty much a perfect exhaust fan. I'll run this on a cycle timer for 1 min every 15 mins or so.

You might be better off getting a speed controller or a pulse width modulator and running it constantly. Also ive found for me at least my air exchanges dont necessarily coorelate with my c02 levels when my room is full. It is going to depend on how tight you pack it.
The fan dave showed above is what i was using for a circulation fan. A bildge fan. He uses it for exaust.

Do you need an exaust and an intake now that im thiking about it? If you just had a vent the pressure would take it out? Unless its just to keep spores from the workspace? I was actually recently using a exaust fan just outside my grow rooms so spores didnt build up in the room outside the doors, it actually burnt out just a week or so ago, idk from spores, moisture or because i left it on the lowest setting on the speed controller, but its been completely fine without it. I found when my exaust was in the room I felt like it sucked air out to quickly after it entered the room leaving some areas dryer than others, but the exaust duct was at the cieling and my humidifier was also pointed at the cieling.
You will probably want a respirator of you dont have one yet, esspecially if your sensative to allergins.

I have a respirator, and yeah I need to exhaust the spores mostly. My can fan is a bit over powered as well so it will help to keep the humidity at a reasonable level.
I'll have 20 bags in there soon, then I'll expand to 40. So there will be a considerable sporeload and co2 will become a problem sooner or later.

I cloned these oysters from the grocery store and hired them as consultants to inspect my FC and tell me whether it can fruit pans.

They've flushed about four or five times, and gotten pretty leggy, but still grew a bit of a cap. I know oysters need a lot more air than pans, and I think I'm happy with it.
I just setup some true humidity cycling and this flush is the largest one I've seen yet from these spaghetti jars.
