Melbourne find, ID please?

I found these babies earler today and could use an ID, if the pictures are ok. If not I guess I'll just take some more... :smile:

PS Hunting is fun! Always liked walks in the wilderness anyway, now with a purpose! New at this tho, so be gentle.  :smile:

Without a more detailed description you won't get an accurate ID. For help on making a better description, read the sticky thread at the top of the forum.

Wild guesses:

The first one looks like a Collybia. The second one looks like a Cortinarius.

Neither genus is noted for active species or edibles. There are poisonous species in both genera.

i would agree with toxicman on the first one being a Collybia or maybe even Marasmius?
