Dry surface only in the 4 corners of monotub

Im using Franks tek with polyfil.
Overall my surface moisture is good with small beads of water on top of my colonized substrate, except all 4 corners seem to dry up a bit with very little surface moisture on them.
Could it be that my bottom polyfil weren't tight enough (just made them tighter for now) or the fan in the room is too close to my tub?

Your tub is automated, no fan needed. If you want to run it, place it to the opposite side of the room, and don`t point it directly on it. Or tighten your polyfill.

But in frank's tek it says to run a fan in the room on low/medium.
Is this too outdated info or its still good?

outdated, you dial in the holes of your tub to limit/increase FAE, a fan is often gonna dry shit out faster & not help anything

Surely it`ll work. If you want to follow this tek to the tee, Frank mentioned to move the fan away or tighten poly, if something gets dry.
As hazyhorse said, you have modified tubs so it`s not necessary. Finish this one, and try a Pasty style monotub next round, or Bod`s unmodified, and you`ll notice how easy things can be
