Aborts in monotub?

My monotub is fruiting quite well but a lot of the smaller pins are darkening and shrivelling slightly like so:

What causes this and can I prevent it? I keep reading that over misting will do it so maybe there's too much water in the substrate.

It's better to start your own new thread and show us pictures of your setup. That's how you will get the most help.

Resurrecting old threads is generally frowned upon.

My bad, just getting used to things around here. I will make sure to start new threads or participate in current ones.
I have quite a few things i'm wondering about I haven't been able to get a definite answer for throughout this first grow experience. I am planning on riding out this grow and writing up a detailed grow log, including all my remaining questions there so that it is all within the context of my specific situation. Is this a better idea than making many different posts all about one single issue?
Just trying to learn the ins and outs of this place and how to utilize it correctly without wasting peoples time or space within the forums. Thanks for the advice

If you make your own new thread labelled 'Jaggonater's Journey' you could post anything you want to there including any questions you have and also any pictures you are proud of. It will get visitors and experienced people will answer your questions

This is uber good advice. My questions started getting way more responses (and quicker ones too lol) once I made the one thread instead of a new one for every question or thought I had lol
