Ok I'll take your word for it and continue the grow. Though, say someone did get black mold in an unmodified tub that was near their room, would they pretty much automatically have a super high risk for getting an infection? Since unmodified's are left open compared to polyfill holes, the mold spores would be everywhere huh?

Na the risk may be slightly higher but no way is it a guarantee that it will cause sickness. Alot of older information or information found on other sites is overexagerated. To get black mold it's gotta come from somewhere so if it gets in your tub it's already in your house somewhere as well. Having said that obviously black mold isn't good and definitely take precautions if you find it but contams in this hobby happen alot but not many people get sickness or infections from them.

If your grain was fully colonized when you spawned it, I doubt you have to worry about any other tubs being contaminated. Also, black mold isn't more harmful than any other color of mold. It can cause allergy symptoms in sensitive people. If the allergy symptoms are too severe, you could develop pneumonia but every other color of mold carries the same risk.
WyoMX beat me to it.
