I hope our high rollers will have high rolls and PULL OUT IN TIME before the almost inevitable nearp-vertical correction of Doge downward to far below what you'd think it would drop to.
Doge is a GENUINE shitcoin in a GENUINE bubble. It has no innovative technology, backs no profitable enterprise or ambitious project, its rise is based on greed of mostly very well interconnected internet netizens. If there will be a large dump it can cascade into an epic drop lightning fast.
If you are making a lot out of Doge:
1) take out what you put in 2) take out a modest profit for your trouble 3) watch the rest like a hawk. 4) consider a more virtuous crypto or other asset

I cant wit till DOGE bursts, thats when Im going to sink $100 into it and use it as a tipping currency on Reddit, and start posting on r/dogecoin again, its a meme coin, and should stay that way, for having fun with, I was into it when faucets would give you 10 DOGE coin a click, I would scoop up a hundred or so a day, imagine if I HODL it instead of memeing it away, Id have quite the beer money today

Congrat's to anyone who has been riding the DOGE hype train (I haven't). There are some rather concerning points being made in this article, and if I were benefitting from this trade, I would be taking a sizable portion off today: Only Whales Move DOGE: Data suggests Major Dogecoin Wealth Gap. Even the magic man with the Midas Touch (i.e. Musk Touch) has noted - all joking aside - that he has a problem with the extreme levels of concentration in very few DOGE wallets.
Quote:
Combined with the long-standing reality that one single address holds 28% of all coins in existence, while just 12 account for 67%, it becomes clear that Dogecoin isn’t exactly the people’s champion that interested parties would have the public believe.

I read a story about someone who bought 2.5m doge back in 2017 when it was about .0001 for $250. He lost the account and then managed to recover it a few days ago

Preaching to the choir on doge. I'm gonna try to ride it to 98 cents then dump it. If I don't get that far no great loss.

I made $200 off the doge run, out of the coin now, though think there is actually room for profits still up until the dogefather SNL blah blah. Not trying to overanalyze it beyond that. Still, anyone who put $200 last November. Wow to buy your house from a random Doge run, would feel nice
Waiting for any kind of dip so I can re-enter either DOT or 1INCH with Doge proceeds.

Depends on your goals. If you want to double your money, any of them is fine. If you dont care about losing that $100, buy XRP on some exchange other than Coinbase like Kucoin, and forget about it until September and you will either have nothing... or $1000.

There's high risk coins with higher volatility and higher potential gains. If you're not worried about losing it take a stab at a coin that historically has big swings and buy in on a big dip. I did very well with YFI on that strategy but it's high right now.
Ob the other hand do research on a new-ish coin that you believe has a solid product with room for growth. Problem for me is new coins often explode before I find them.
I made probably 75% of my portfolio on BTC and ETH.

thank you for your quick response(s) i appreciate your hard earned wisdom
as far as doubling your money on daily / bydaily basis
are the prices generally lower in the morning than in the evenings?
i saw this post from my online crypto platform forum
"you are rigth, that why i buy in the morning sell at night, in and out every day more than $100 us profit cash in cash out. at the end of the week profits $600 us"
do prices generally tend to gradually rise through out the day peaking during evening?
i guess people are not trading during the early hours so the volume of trading remains rather stagnant in the early morning

I have seen no basis to substantiate that claim reliably.
DISCLAIMER - There are investors here that are far more experienced than I am but I can pass on what I've learned from my own experience and what I've learned from other skilled investors. (Props to geo and qman). Although what I state here may not be indicative of their beliefs entirely.
Discipline is key and responding emotionally is a portfolio killer. Create a strategy - Set buy and sell orders and stick to them. It's easy to deviate from your strategy by fluctuations in the market and respond emotionally. "OMG IM GOING TO LOSE EVERYTHING!" Smart investors are waiting for this to happen. This is how smart investors get rich - on the poor decisions of others.
Buy and sell incrementally-
No one can guess on point where the tops and bottoms will occur. In time you'll gain experience when these will happen and reduce your margins for error. If you're experiencing gains, sell small portions on the way up in incremental values. If you're seeing dips, buy respectfully and re-invest accordingly. Have no regrets on selling early. You're not a fortune teller.
All that being said, I'm very pleased where my portfolio is now currently at 100% gains BUT...
I talked my wife into investing $300 of her side cash into ETH 6 months or so ago and she's tripled her money doing absolutely nothing.
By in large, I've made a shit-ton of money because I'm alive with expendable income at a time where crypto is hot and I'm grateful for that.
