Okso my father in law is first generation Korean.
So based on what I've heard from him,my wife,andeverything else,my opinion is..
I think there was predjudicegrowing since the beginning of the pandemic towards asians. But thengeorgefloyd happened and the super radical equality movement that happened over the summer. And I think this fueled hatecrimes even more. But is themainstream news covering it appropriately? No,do they do anything right? No. Doestheasian community deserve recognition for their share of American oppression, yes. Why now, because they've been viewed as the "Model Minority", the, as cannibinated said "rch azns", or whatever the fuck.
Is the media using this for democratic votes, duh, that's all they do these days.
Is hate up towards Asian, oh ya. Is it just coronavirus, no. White people are more on edge in the us than ever,did you see that Capitol shit? Your average american,white, is losing their shit! Becauseshitschanging.
And the comfortable, good old, corrupt, evil systems that not only exist within our government, but that have been bred into our societies,our families, our homes, is changing.
I dont know what cannibinated was even getting at. But I know this is a controvertialtopic, that people seem to be looking for confirmation on, even the Asian community. Is it happening? Wasn't it? How much are you absorbing from people, or organizations, that have a motive/agenda but have no clue what they're actually talking about, other than opinion.
What are the facts and how do you view it.
Are Asian hatecrimes up? Probably. Are all hate crimes up? Probably. Are we hearing about hate crimes more? Absolutely. Were they never happening before? Absolutely not.

Yah it sucks. Asian culture is probably my favorite of all (I mean maybe next to American culture gotta keep it real  ). I just have a lot of respect for them as a whole, so anyone who is doing that shit can fuck right off.
Am not the authoritative type, but would gladly be the hand to dole out punishment if we could line up the idiots who decided it was a good idea to pick on Asians (or any group of people for that matter). Would sleep better at night...

I had a few friends who once went to a carnival and held hands pretending to be gay. someone eventually yelled faggots, or some shit at them, and they immediately chased the dude down and beat the shit out of him. I dont necessarily promote violence, but dont hate it completely either
Kinda makes me want to dress up like an old Asian lady and stroll down the streets of long beach.
