We had some rain for couple days and I'm planning to head out and look for mushroom. I looked into FAQ and only kind of active mushroom that glows in my area in this time is Panaeolus subbalteatus. is that right? If there are more speices that i should look for, it would be great if u guys could tell me the names. Also it would be great to give me general location for the speices. (like forrest, cow pasture, or grassy area)

Panaeolus subbalteatus grows in rotted hay mostly inthe PNW and sometimes in cow manure but not abundan as hay (rotted composted hay).
Blue ringers appear in lawns in the spring and summer in new lawns o at condos, new restaurants, apartment complexe lawns and later in the fall months in woodchips.
Pictures for both species can be found in the Shroomery's Ultimate Shroom Guide with 1500 photos of 55 different species of magic mushrooms. Everytning you need to know is in that guide.
