In my first grow, which are Golden Teachers, and I'm getting what appear to be albino shrooms. Some look very white while others are white with just a tinge of brown, unlike the others which are tan/brown in color. Are these albino or just very pale Golden Teachers? About half of my pinset so far are white.

You won't know if they are true albino or just leucistic until they start dropping spores. If the cap opens and the veil breaks and they are still colorless then they are albino. If you can see any color in the spores they are leucistic. Either way they are both desirable traits. Nice luck you have for your first grow

Im just curious, is leucisticy desirable just for aesthetics or are there other desriable traits like high potency or large clusters that tend to go along with it?
