As much as I like to get you on your hind legs, I'm afraid this is not a drill. This is the literal crisis I had you prepare for through all my metaphorical scenarios.

A brilliant way to get checked for puppet activity is carrying on pre-ban beef with staffers.
But lets get back on topic.
The world governments are admitting to having lost $24 TRILLION in economic activity. Even tourism is 1 TRILLION down.
People fail to see what a catastrophy this is for the economy. There is massive loss of income security, of jobs, of housing, of small businesses, even big businesses are forced to merge or be taken over just to hack it in the post-2020 world.
Of course, 24 thousand billion less economic activity has environmental consequences too:

Since 2 or so days now I';m starting to get a cold, from the nose through the throat to the upper airways, so since I was visited recently by an antivaxxer friend with "a cold"  and have been in the hospital recently, I thought it wise to break out a rapid antibody test to see through a blood test on IgM and IgG whether I had gotten infected.
Early bird catches the worm right? a €4,95 test gives reassuance money cant buy.
As I expected: Negative, I dont have it and havent had it, 5 bucks well spent, I can now proceed to have a flu or cold without undue stress.
Its nice to have some Covid tests in your medicine cabinet.
in 15 min you'll know whats up.

HA! That puppet lasted a few years, and fooled me. VD was a prickish sort, should have known. Whats the other name/ID they go by?
My brother absolutely refuses to get shots, and I had a friend from nursing school call to tell me not to take the vaccine and not to let my partner take the second shot, lol! She is in SE Oklahoma and if any of you have ever been there you'd know why she's saying that. She has been an RN for 11 years now. She should know better.

just got my second moderna shot today in my other arm. legs feeling like jello after an hour so far. no signs of a tail yet. it's been a pretty awful run of luck this month, but as soon as i got this shot, my luck seems to be turning, since i got late birthday presents in the mail, i got a day off work, and i got a surprise letter from my poor persons medicare saying that the 130ish$ in monthly payments i owe for healthcare is... cancelled? no explanation was given, it just said i no longer owed anything. o_O
not used to having a surprise cancelled bill in the mail, that's for sure.
