I can say that I experience this exactly! I have been searching for information for years now. And find that it must be quite rare because nobody experiences quite what I do. Glad to see this post! My pain last for the entirety of my trip and my psychedelic experience is very minimal as well. It feels like these things are Associated but I don’t have proof. I’ve even microdosed in the way Paul Stamets recommends, and during a microdose I’ll still get slight pain throughout the entirety of the microdose. I know it was likely has something to do with nerves. It makes it really hard for me to want to even try mushrooms again in a large quantity because it’s so much pain for so long and I don’t know that I can have more of a psychedelic experience I’ve already had which is been very slight and minimal. Have you continue to use mushrooms and experienced this multiple times? Is this something you experienced every time? Does it seem to be getting better over time? Have you tried B12 and niacin while taking mushrooms? I have so many questions about why my body reacts this way and no one to ask lol -In the same boat Nichole

Yes - nearly every time, sometimes even on a micro that's closer to a threshold dose. I wouldn't describe what I feel as pain, but it's not comfortable either.

The traditional Mazatec method is 30 minutes of intense chewing, afterall.
Perhaps psilocybin has use in dentistry. Wouldnt a toothpaste be a decent idea for microdosing buccally?

For the 25 years I tripped it endured and was dose dependent. I have since, quit.
Some people have this and it prevents you from feeling good without there being psychology behind it. It just feels like voltage on your nerves.

Never felt it in my teeth. But my balls sometimes tingle with euphoric pleasure when I’m tripping on shroomies.

Not my teeth, but absolutely my legs. Especially on LSD. My legs feel electrified the entirety of a trip. Some of my first alerts are when I start to feel the electricity in my legs.

Serotonin (5-HT) plays an essential part in tooth repair. Speculate with information as you will.

You're trippin man. Just kidding. I've never experienced that, but similarly I used to feel a dry throat everytime I took them, didn't matter if it was .1g or 5g. Really unpleasant and steered me away from them for about a year. I think our our own neurotic tendencies, each unique to ourselves as we are all individuals, manifest quite strongly with psychedelics help.
