OH! WBS question!
    #2728969 - 05/25/04 05:31 PM (19 years, 10 months ago)

I just found some birdseed in my garage, I've been wanting to use a WBS tek because i hear they colonize faster and are better for casings. Is there any specific type of birdseed i need to use?

wow that really is great. Can you shake the jars when they are filled to the top like that? and do i NEED a pressure cooker to use a WBS/casing tek?

I fill the jars about 3/4 of the way full and they shake pretty easily.I shake them after I innoculate, again at 20% growth, then a final time at about 50-60% growth, which just about averages out to a shaking every 4-5 day's.

Well you could try this if you don't have one VVV

or you could do this VVV

http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...ev=#Post2705226

Useing this TEK,just substitute the BROWN RICE FLOUR with Wild bird seed flour.

Other than that,in my honest opinion,I would get one if you are serious enough to try grains.
And if you do step up to grains try this TEK VVV

My two pennies

I hope I helped ya a little.
