More Nutritious Sub for Bigger Fruits?

I run all of my tubs exclusively using coir/verm and rye for spawn. Lately I've been seeing product from other growers with HUGE fruits. Like ridiculously massive mushrooms that sometimes give me some mushroom envy.
Wondering if using something more nutritious than coir/verm would help make that happen? Or is it pretty much all genetic?

I can`t imagine some extra nutes could bring up big bonkers exclusively. I stand for the genetics+conditions theory

Im with goat, strong genetics and proper surface/growing conditions is the best way to get large fruits.

From time to time there usually arrives a new detected power source for cube growers.
But really no, just good clones and best conditions possible

more minerals lead to bigger fruits for me, when applied to coir.. but there is a point where i add too much and the yield crashes.. not sure how much loading up a substrate with extra proteins/ nitrogen will increase fruit size, but minerals did it for me.
also loading up substrate/ casing with a nice soak a couple day before fruiting will take place seem to swell the pins up to a larger size, but you need good genetics to capitalize off this.

Yeah, i`m totally with you. You can always put something on top when starting out with top genetics. But would it be noticeable running side by side?

I saw in one of your other posts that you said something about azomite. Approx how much per sub have you found to be the threshold? When you add it, does the sub then have to be pasteurized? (I've recently been doing the hot tap water tek with zero problems, and it's been awesome not having to do the extra step).

for ten tubs i believe i added about 1.5/2 cups.. i have no idea the exact amount
i did a few tubs with a lot more than that.. and the yield put out fruits so big the started splitting at the stalk but the yield was insanely low. honestly, i would not suggest experimenting with this until you perfected your genetics and environment..

Impressive, i must say Maybe it wouldn`t be a bad idea to concentrate that on single cakes, not big bulks?
