Mycelium growing through casing layer HELP!

Hi Everyone,
I couldn't find a post that looked like the situation I am in so here it goes (Newb). THANKS IN ADVANCE!
I am using a mega-you-grow kit. So far so good.. -Extremely sterilized -Pasteurized the straw substrate -added spawn and waited 3 weeks -Spawn completely grew through the straw -Pasteurized casing soil -Added 2 inches of casing soil to substrate -Left the kit in a dark warm room for 5 days
It was when it started getting light that what I thought was trich was consuming the casing soil. I forgot to take a pic but it was quickly consuming the surface with white clumps and starting to get a bit of a green hue. STOP and throw it out right? Well I didn't and yes I probably flung spores everywhere but I scooped it and bleached the area.
Yes it is most likely ruined but I wanted to keep it going just to see what happens. For a future grow, can anyone tell me what is mycelium and what isn't in these pics? Expertise would be appreciated!

I'd say that you grew 100% mold. I don't see any mycelium on that straw at all. What is the casing material and is that all in a tub? It looks like cardboard wrapped in plastic.
What was "extremely sterilized"?

Also what kind of mushrooms were you growing? If it was just cubes that's way overkill and unnecessary.

It was a kit, they are nothing if not unnecessary and dumb. Nobody grows on shredded straw or uses what looks like garden dirt for a casing, this is the work of a 200$ shit bird kit, not the new grower.

O I 100% agree with all that. It's crazy to me so many companies make kits to hustle people. I know some end up with fruits but sooooo many people come here with such similar posts as op they can't get many repeat customers haha shitty business model.
