Hey all,
Just wondering if any of the agar dishes below are ready for agar to agar or agar to grain jar transfers. Thanks for any and all feedback!

Put those to agar again. You want symmetrical growth to ensure nothing is riding along.
Those strand looking pieces look good, the rest looks a little questionable.

Worth the time transferring until you have really good plates before a2g.
I wish I spent the time to transfer a bit more.

and

Looks like you have potential but it's hard to tell on jumbled plates like that. Transfer again and update pics when the growth is quarter sized (a little earlier or later is fine) and we can take it from there.

Looks like a syringe germination plate that is way passed it's prime for transferring. Ideally you want the leading edge of growth and now there isn't one.
Personally I'd transfer wedges to small grain jars and fruit the grain for a clone at this point.
Just looks unorganized not dirty.

Next time try to take some transfers from your germination plate before it grows out so much. It will be easier to spot contaminate-free mycelium that way.

Like others have said, u should do more transfers. But they look clean to me so if u wanted to do a test jar with a agar slice, thatd be fine too.

Yeah, as you recognize it as healthy, you may transfer from a leading edge, cause there you have the youngest myc in line.
