Did not mean to cause any drama guys. My bad. Here are some more pics. I've zoomed in on some areas I think are POEs. For sure some of them are aborts. But there are not many that are black. Lots of fuzzy stuff and the white growths on the bigger one are new. I left the top off of the tub today for about 2 hours. I would of put in in the sun like someone suggested but its been raining all day. I still don't feel the pics are very good because they still look darker than they are in RL. I had the lights on, with the flash on and a flash light. I tried every way I could think of to make the pics look good.

Damn you still haven't harvested?
Cut all of those close to the sub, and let it dry out a bit so you can get another flush
Lol the one literally has pins growing off of it, thats pretty cool. You should save that picture. I wouldn't eat any of those at this point.

Harvest those asap, don't leave stuff to rot on the sub and do not mist. I'd leave it basically in open air or at least open air/lid off for several hours a day and as another commenter said let it get some sunlight. When I had tubs like these I gave them as much air and sun as I could, and would get decent 2nd flushes.

I work in the OR and we have been short staffed so I have been on 24 hour call for several days now. I'm off call tomorrow and will be able to pick them.

Word. I would try to get the stumps cut nice and close to the surface, try to not leave too much behind. Then let it dry out with the lid cracked until it doesn't look waterlogged.
Then your next flush should come in nicely.
I always put a small hole in the bottom corner of my totes with a drill and a small bit. You can dump out excess moisture that collects at the bottom through the hole. Just a random tip.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea. Do these really need to be thrown out? I have to admit I'm somewhat emotionally attached to these little guys. My first time and I was pretty stoked about the pin set. I'll feel pretty heartbroken trashing them.

They wouldn't amount to much dried anyway,so the risk to reward is too high IMO.
They are soooooo old haha, and they've been wet the whole time so I'd pitch them.
