Outdoor takeover?

I have never spawned outdoors and was wondering what would happen if i lived where phsychoactive mushrooms do not grow. If i spawned in various places would it soon be a part of the city and grow naturally where i live? I would be introducing magic to the city!

Think of it this way, one mushroom produces around 200 million spores in its lifetime (this isn't a fact just what i remember from science in 6th grade, could be wrong). And if you multiply that by however many of those mushroom u think grow within a month... how many spores would u say that is? ALOT... Theres millions of spores in every breath, not only from mushrooms but from all sorts of fungi or bacteria etc. If the magic mushrooms wanted to grow there, they quite possibly could... Wanna know why they don't? The conditions aren't right! they obviously dont like the conditions where u live and just because u make an outdoor bed isnt going to make them like ur conditions any better.
Theres my 2cents.

Oh, well i will just have to make them like it than. Maybe the reason for this is nobody has introduced them to this part of Canada and it is pretty far from any psychoactive mushroom locations, or can spores travelle a bigillion miles? Also how long from spawning date will the mushrooms grow, is it like overtime or pretty mush just colonize and fruit? Oh and thanks for helpin out fella!

ime, given basic parameters such as day/night temps, rH, and good bed location actives can be cultivated anywhere outside. acclimation, otoh, is another thing entirely. it is possible to establish a bed and keep it going via fortification but acclimation would be take considerable time and luck.
to put it in perspective, take the state of TN. it is just north of the invisible line that dictates natural shroomage. parts of the state do produce actives,.. around the memphis area. given that the state is situated so closely to the naturally producing zones and that there are no drastic climatic differences from East TN to Mid TN one could expect, rightly so, to be able to cultivate cubes outdoors rather easily. while this can be accomplished I have yet to witness a naturally occuring active specimen.
I have seen an entire barn floor producing massive amounts of fruits right next to multiple cow fields full of cow shit with the barn used multiple times for such purpose. One might conceive that given such a dense cloud of spores in so close of a proximity to an optimal natural growing environment that a few rogue cubes would pop up some where in the fields. not so.
this all sums up to the idea that an established mycelial network will complete the mushroom lifecycle if basic environmental conditions are met but a set of spores will not necessarily form a mycelial network given basic environmental conditions but lacking proper geolocation.
the best one can hope for is to maintain an outdoor bed and hope for eventual acclimation to the surrounding area.

So if i took the state of TN, which side of a moist area behind a fullen tree would i spawn (north, south, west, east)?

use north faces regardless of location
low lying foliage (to trap humidity) is preferable

Does anybody know of any spores that could survive throughout the winter?

spores aren't the problem. i think you are referring to mycelial networks.

Alright, but i'm also saying as to which spores i could get that would provide a mycelial network that can survive in the cold winters of Canada?

First see usda plant hardiness zone map
Now if u live in zone 6, 7 or 8 ( not so much in Canada) , Psilocybe Azurescens ,Psilocybe cyanescens, Psilocybe subaeruginosa, Psilocybe bohemica, Psilocybe arcana, Psilocybe serbica ... could be cultivated .
For more info go to fungifun .
In zone 5 u need a winter protection , but apperently , u dont want to cultivate , u want introduce , an other history .

Thanks for the advice Mycena and Yes it's me, i will take it into advantage. Would putting a black garbage bag over the area in the winter help with it by protecting it from the snow? I live in London Ontario Magic Rah, what about you? I live in zone 4. eek! Should i check out the strains that grow on the mountains of BC, because those mountains get damn cold to! I think it would be a great idea to inoculate or spawn the mulch piles of the council for doing public gardens, thats an awsome idea. But where would i go find the piles, or innoculate the piles before they put them into bags and cell at gardening stores! Haha

depending on how cold your ground gets you may get by with piling straw on top. it seems easier to just call it quits in winter and start over in spring with a fresh bed. it's not like establishing an outdoor bed is even remotely difficult if you can already produce quality grain spawn.

hire a crop duster plane and innoculate the pastures and savannas.
