I'll be better prepared for next time. One of the tubs is looking really promising though so I'm considering this all to be a success either way!
Next time I won't be lazy and skip the damn liners lol
Yo i love your frisbee pack! Nice collection

Thanks man, that's the bag I keep in the truck for spur of the moment rounds. My tournament bag has 20 discs. I have like another 130 in my closet with 2 colleges in town mycologists are pretty popular at the local courses
Hopefully I can get my shit figured out so I can whip my penis (envy) out on the course this summer!

Yep, frisbee (disc) golf is actually a pretty big thing. I used to play in a local league but got too busy for 5-6, 18 hole rounds a week plus 2 monthly tournaments. If there's a reasonably busy or well maintained course around you chances are that there's a league. If you're unsure if there's a course around you check out dgcoursereview.com and find one that looks like fun! It's a great way to get out, get some exercise and meet some really laid back people who all like to indulge lol.
Hell, the PDGA world championship was on ESPN a couple months ago it's a total stoner sport but there's actually a LOT to it. I've got discs for S curves, rolls, skips, hook right, hook left, straight, long range, mid range, putters, different weights, different flexibilities, harder/softer materials for different weather conditions/courses.

I had no idea what frisbee golf was until I went with my friend and it turns out there’s like 4 huge courses within 20 mins of me. It’s amazing how far some guys can huck those things.
It’s beginning

Looking like it’s gonna be sweet.

I prefer ball golf over frisbee but you'll never hear me complain if I do one over the other!
...but I would REALLY prefer it if my tubs would look like that, AKA! That thing is going to blow up in no time flat. Good work!

Interesting! Funny enough, my brother just introduced me to disk golf today! we went to the university and he was showing me the course. Cool timing that your telling me this now, seems like the disk golf is calling
Thats crazy i didnt realise theres like a whole arsenal of disks for different purposes. Where do you buy your disks ?

Ted - thank you so much for this truly amazing how-to/tutorial/TEK, whatever you would like to call it!
Since the forum was down I didn't think to get any picture unfortunately, but this worked like a charm! Both of my 16q minis put out nothing but blobs for the first flush for some reason but my other 5 shoeboxes had beautiful flushes of phallic fruits. So far, out of two flushes I've harvested 11oz dry.
I can't wait to do this again. Thank you so much for all your help and the time you took writing up this contribution and holding a noobs hand!

Hello all! Nice to be back. Ditto on BigFoots comment. Thanx so much Ted. I’ve gained enough confidence now that yesterday I spawned five quarts of PE oats into a 64qt tub and I have 5 pounds of jiffy casing on standby. I still have my original tubs going from the time when I had my emotional brake down! Ooops. For some reason I cannot get them to produce a healthy second flush. It starts to get all these princess and then they abort. The sub has shrunk 2 inches away from the liner and I’m not even getting pins there. Well once this 64 quart giant starts showing signs of life I will be back again for some conversation and may be a little guidance. For a platform that irritated me so much in the beginning I sure did miss it while it was down. Hope everybody has been well and Covid free and producing lots of fruit.

I cloned a fruit and had multiple plates of that clone going. Seems like one plate is happy to push out blob after blob. I'm growing in a cool environment so I'll see what happens to the rest of the tubs. Hoping it's not the temps that do it and it was just that plate.

hell, yeah! god to hear your all experiencing success. I spawned a few qts of PE to some bags a bit ago and just topped with casing that I pasteurized almost a yr ago. everything's looking good so far. about ready for layer 2. so if your pasteurizing alot of peat at once just keep it in a closed spawn bag. the benificial microbes should repopulate and the nasties shouldnt be able to get in. also when mixing peat/lime its helpful to get a feel for the smell of properly ph'd casing. if you pasteurize it and it doesnt smell like it did when youmixed it theres a good chance it could go south

Hey yall, I'm officially hopping on the dick train (cheers Lenz). I've seen that PE myc can look a little strange but my searches aren't coming up with anything that helpful. Do these look okay? Any section look good to transfer from?

I am for sure gonna flame sterilize my scissors and chop off the aerial tip of that swab in the second pic, it's looking hungry Any other advice would be appreciated

First pic I'd grab a little from the 12 oclock position. Second pic 9 oclock. Small transfers.

It seems like 1/4 of the PE I’ve run loves to eat casing. Most of the time I just case once and leave it at that but then there’s ones like this one.

It’s been cased deep twice now with no signs of knots yet
It’s a big tub too, I’m gonna end up using half a bag of jiffy on this sucker.
