As far as I can tell, there isn't anything that should be preventing those images from displaying. Hotlink protection shouldn't be a factor since we retrieve those images through our own proxy by default. Does it still happen if you use a different browser?

Quoting was disabled in the Funnies thread, I'm not sure why, but somewhere in those 3,325 replies I bet there's an explanation. 😆 It's not a bug though, it's a thread option that was toggled by a staff member. Maybe if someone knows the story there they can chime in.
Regarding those images, they all display fine for me, and I'm also curious if anyone else is having your same problem. Did you ever check if it still happens when you use a different browser? It's weird that they load fine fine when you go directly to the URL, but not in threads. I can't really think of a simple explanation. If you want, I can get in touch with you privately and walk you through how to debug the traffic in your browser and track this down further.

Nothing's changed about the site's behavior as far as I know. If you don't want to retrieve offsite images through a proxy, you can go to your display options and change the setting "How to handle offsite resources (images and embedded media)?" But note that you may receive mixed content warnings in your browser because of a mix of secure and insecure elements.

Could you please try navigating to https://www.shroomery.org/smarty/templates/css/shroomery.main.css and then refreshing that page?
Alternately, I don't have any experience with iOS, but apparently you can go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data > Show All Sites, find www.shroomery.org, and clear that data without affecting other websites.

Threads2theSoul - the "Print Thread" option is only available for threads with fewer than 1,000 replies. Generating a complete view of some of our longer threads uses a disproportionate amount of server resources, and even modern systems struggle to display the resulting page, which is why we sometimes turn off that option.
1234go - it looks like you resized the quick reply box so it was overflowing the page. Maybe it was unintentional if you're using a touch screen, it's easy to accidentally grab the drag handles on the edges of the text box. I shrunk it down a bit which should hopefully solve the issue for you, but you may want to customize it again.

Thanks very much for the offer but I'd need to reproduce it myself, a video wouldn't tell me what I need to know unfortunately. And since I don't have access to an iOS device for testing and Safari is unavailable on other platforms, I can't really help with this one, sorry. Maybe Apple will fix it.

Hmm, that's super weird. Disregarding your desired behavior for a minute, the way you describe it now is how it's supposed to work, and how I thought it always worked. We store all your preferences on our server, so when you're logged out, none of them are applied. If it was functioning differently in the past, it was unintended, and definitely a bug.
I think what happened is I fixed this bug, and it changed this behavior. The option to save preferences when you're logged out is an interesting suggestion, and it's something I could feasibly think about implementing, but I'd want to do it properly and not as a side-effect of a bug.
