That’s what happened to a squirrel last year. Poor thing got so stupid it would fall out of trees.

I’ve narrowed down the hole digger to: raccoon, fox, opossum, coyote or ground hog
That's pretty cool.

The baby fox was locked inside the tennis court and couldn’t get out. I kept hearing yelping for like two hours and finally went out and the baby fox was trapped inside the fence and the mom was outside. When I walked up to the baby it started trying to climb up my leg. I opened a gate and it ran out.
There are so many foxes around here you don’t go a day without seeing them

Just don't go getting too close to no big gators or moose or bucks during rut. I don't care how much of an animal caller you are these things are beasts that can kill.

Anyone who's ever been attacked by- or surprised a cornered racoon knows they aren't cute.
They are like the mini version of the honey badger in that they can put up a really good- dang nasty fight/self defense.

I need to go looking for the cicadas-
-
I always have them - I always see them every year without fail -
PS- you said the digital trap is back? Did you just close the door or is it like there are secrets in the attic?

The birds don't touch my garden within my sight- - but I bet despite my will-- they would be like predatory beings on the insects below- and they know when I am there or not- they are natures perfection of flight- deadly and yet light as a feather.

That's what I was thinking. They do the same kind of rooting around in my yard.

I didn't either, which is why I didn't say anything initially...but I did a quick search, and read that they do... but I'm not sure.

It's not that surprising. They're pretty hardy animals...here's an old range map of the nine-banded armadillo from 95. It's not impossible by any means.
