Need help with ID (pics)

I found this one in my yard. its still in the ground havnt tookin it out yet. heres some info i could get.

Habitat: California,CA/lawn
Characteristics of the gills: white/attached/gills
Measurements: 12cm tall/7cm cap
Characteristics of the stem: white/about 10-11cm
Characteristics of the cap: white/spherical/convex/top is sticky
Color that the mushroom bruises: havn't tried

ok i guess ill take it out i will post it soon.
here some more info:

the stem is hollow
the gills are light light brown

and im still taking the spore print

i cant take a good picture of the print but the spores are light brown

What popped into my mind was Leucoagaricus, but those have white spores I believe. I've never found one of those either. Did you take a spore print or did you just look at the gills? I don't mean to be rude, I'm just making sure. :smile:

Leucoagaricus do indeed have white spore prints. They are a group that was split off from Lepiota, similar to Leucocoprinus.
