paneolus sub question (its a good one this time)
    #2724488 - 05/24/04 07:42 PM (19 years, 8 months ago)

alright so, i know i have found the right one. i did all there was to do to test it. jet black spore prints they discription matches up... but there are also some other pan subs on the dung pile... they seem alot more full and rich. would this be due to the fact that different areas effect the growth of them and how big they get? it seems like an obvious question, but it could really help me. and i havnt found an answer anyone on the net so far about that.

How big is "full and rich?"
Do they still look like subbs, are the gill colors and spore prints the same?
If all characteristics match, then you probably just have some big subbs.

The largest ones I've seen had about 4-5 inch stems and almost 2 inch wide caps.

well, ill try to get some pics on here, but i can tell you that imm still doing the spore prints but so far they arent done, by morning should be, and by after skool ill know for sure and tell you. if they are black im hinting twards them being the subs. its just the fact that these ones im also trying to reserch, they are kind of more flat and less healthy lookin, but resemble some of the pics. its just they always look so much different depending on the area.. i think? well ill let you know tomrrow.
