where can i find a comprehinsive list of local mushrooms in

i saw teh faq and its rather incomplete some of the stuff like gymnopilus spectabilis and g. aeruginosus arent really mentioned any where i cant even find a pict or any info, second i live in a very wooded area, it rained yesterday and the day before, i went out today and only found three its a start, i found some living off of logs and as far as i know correct me please. i can hardly find straw or any composts, ive been looking at this stuff for a long time proly about 3 or 4 months some of this is confusing like i cant even find a diagram of mushroom parts, like veil, basidia,pleurocystidia, and cheilocystidia, please respond

If I'm not mistaken, those are all microscopic features of mushrooms that you're not going to have to worry about.

As far as the FAQ being incomplete... Never forget about google. If you can't find something in the FAQ you could always try to google it. www.erowid.org , www.lycaeum.org and www.mushroomexpert.com are also very vaulable resources.

HI, I already gave this person the same information in another of his posts and apparently he did not go tot he search engines to find this photo of the life cycle of a mushroom.

This is kinda a double post about this from him.

hey mj i looked up what you told me to and google really didnt help but yes i have been looking lol. ive already gotten a five page write out that i wrote for my self since its easier for me to memorize stuff if i write it thanks :laugh:

thanks, sorry for buggin ya but some of the serious stuff is hard to find and the info is kind of inconclusive, mj thanks for your patience, i really mean that, by the way, ive already made a list for my self:D, its about 15 pages long right now:D
