I keep seeing people post the thrasher clone pictures on insta and hyping it but I just thought it kinda looked like a regular melmak tp grow. Then again as random as some people's results are getting a guaranteed pheno is nice.

Mak TP going to T2 in a minute. T1 had some slightly inconsistent growth but shouldn't take more than a transfer to clean it up. Then were spawning, exciting times!

Mine finally germ'd from a year old swab.
I am very excite! Hope I can manage some decent results even remotely close to some of what I've seen in this thread, would be nice.
Edit: it's the TP version from EEF

Had some big fruits on a couple of the few tubs that flushed after my field caps blunder. spotted some capacity amongst my M2 that started out as WW2 german infantry helmets then opened up with wonderful undulating cap edges. Cloned a couple and so I'm goping to get some canopies of these wavy-like caps. Im up to #12 with clone cultures although I think I let a few fade out.

Damn man, what size bags are you using??
They look like the XL ones for 10-15lb blocks.

(T1a) (T1b) (Swab) (T1c)
All transfers are from the second to last plate that took forever to germinate and looked good at first and slowly started looking weird.
Same for all 3 transfers from that plate. The one has growth all over cause condensation washed some of the transferred mycelium around.
Is this growth worth persuing, or does it look like I'm wasting my time? Fairly new to agar and this is the first time seeing growth sort of receed after being a nice uniform circle earlier on.
Thanks to anyone who chimes in

I have a clone culture that pins in 10-12 days, but these MS runs I've been doing for LAGM are taking 2 full weeks with a 1:2 spawn ratio

That ain't a bad tub at all lol. I love melmak because even shitty pinsets will still produce some weight.
