Laminar Flow Hood Calculations - Adding extra Pre-filters

I'm in the process of designing my Laminar Flow hood and I want to add some extra pre filters.
Being German we tend to over engineer things here!!
I want to add some additional course filters and a cheaper hepa filter BEFORE the air is sent into the pressure chamber. I would like to know what adjustments I need to make to my fan calculations so that I choose a fan that is powerful enough.
The thinking is that whilst the fan may have to work harder to pull the air through the additional filters, I will be able to prolong the life of my main HEPA filter in the flowhood that produces the Laminar Flow of clean air.
I know this might sound like a bit overkill but I am German and we are known for our engineering!!!
Thank You Good People.

No adjustments just the same calcilations with the added resistance

So do I just add the extra resistance of the pre filters into my calcs when choosing the fan?

Na, GermanShaman.
Alles fit im Schritt?
I have the Series 1 flow hood from Fungi Perfecti. I bought some large air/furnace filters from Amazon, cut a piece off with scissors so it'd cover the air intake and then used gaffer tape to keep it in place
The filters I bought were Filtrete™ MPR 1500 Allergen, Bacteria & Virus Air Filters 16 * 30 * 1 inches. The packaging states that it lasts up to 3 months but I assume that is if you're taking in a large amount of air constantly. I've had my first piece on for years and I'll only change it once it starts to look dirty.

The site can find retailers for you. I can't remember if I bought mine from Amazon or eBay.
