Yeah I just read into it further. It's up to 30% of your BTC with a max of 100K. Pay the interest every month with a year to pay the principal. It's like waving a wad of cash in front of anyone with a gambling addiction. Even so, 65% of my BTC is all gains.

Ill bet. Anyone who was holding BTC a month ago has to be pretty happy right now, and if theyre not its because they didnt put more money in...
Just keep referencing that rainbow chart trees put up not too long ago

Killing it on btc and eth. Just wish my alts would catch up so I can liquidate.
I cancelled the $53.8K sell order. $50K is so psychologically significant, I ended up feeling that a break above would probably lead to a bit more of a run and I shouldn't sell myself short on that. $56.5K showing some supply on BTC -- through a very short-term lens. My first sell order (in a very long while) is presently at $58.2K. I could conceive of another double before the year is out, but I need to start incrementally taking a little profit off the table. It's a matter of discipline.
Took a good chunk of XTZ off above $5. I still have meaningful exposure to XTZ, but by and large, I'm huge on BTC, ETH and DOT. Started accumulating DOT around $7-$8 and it is absolutely killing it right now, and I'm staking for a 12% annual reward.
My only problem with it is that I sold a bunch around $15-$20.
Smaller altcoins just can't stand much chance when the majors are on the move. Alts are what active traders look toward when the major markets get boring. But the major markets are on fire, it's going to bleed out some enthusiasm from the smaller issues, initially. Once the majors have stabilized into a higher base, then some of the alts can be considered for more active swing trading.
(I still have a hard time trading crypto).

My total portfolio swings up and down massively, like sometimes as much as 50K. Long term trend for the last several months has been upwards, but I know what you mean...still a lot of volatility.
I regret not taking more profits on XTZ when it hit $5.40 to $5.60 range. I got greedy, and I'm still trying to learn to have better discipline with my trades.
I agree with geo that right now the big boys are going to be making the major moves, once they stabilize, we should see some action in the smaller alts.

I missed the boat with the DOT, I was waiting for it to retrace but it never did. I am already heavily invested in btc and eth since April 2020 so I am just riding the rocket, but now I can't really justify buying anything at these prices. I guess I have to stack up some tether for the next meltdown to buy the dip.

My friend who trades sold most his shit to buy lower and it rocketed away on him. I feel bad for him because he was already at a loss, from trading, and now got left in the dust.

Im not at a loss and i wouldnt be selling to buy lower
When something moves 10% without batting an eye at 50k i get suspicous
The gains are astronomical to me
Not my gains, i have 2k invested here
When you guys can lose that and not bat an eye
Maybe im just use to being poor or something or struggling to get by so my account growing even $100 in a day is a lot to me
Im use to having to bust my ass for that or risk my ass selling drugs (much bigger reward )
Or maybe when something seems too good to be true i think it is
Idk why you keep talking shit about your friends and trading. Idgaf dude im going to do what ever the fuck i want to do

It is nerve-racking sometimes for me to watch prices plummet. But I've been in crypto a long long time (since 2012) and you get used to it.
Trading during a bull market is possible and I have gotten better at doing it and making a pretty decent profit but a majority of my gains are from long-term holding. For those of us who were holding through the 2018 crash and the 2018 "crypto winter" this volatility is just something you learn to digest. Especially if you believe that even if we plummet, long term it's still going to go up, then in the big picture, it's not so worrisome.
If I had smaller amounts of capital I would probably just save up whatever extra I could and put it into bitcoin or other top coins during the big dips. Do that every few weeks for multiple years, and wait for another big increase. Then take some off the table. Trying to trade with small amounts of capital sounds stressful to me. I'm sure some people can turn it into a lot more, but it's probably hard.
The easiest money I've ever made came from holding crypto for 3-5+ years and there was no day to day stressing over charts and volatility.
Recently I found this thread I made about ethereum before I even understood what it did . Ethereum had very few projects and a tiny ecosystem back then. It was probably less than $10 at that point.
