!!! That looks so alive it's almost vibrating.
Any reason for the cooler? Thermal stability?
Is it extra deep sub?

Thanks! I was so excited about this culture! It’s actually a baby food formula container. I used this because it is easy to conceal in the small space I’m using as to go unnoticed by my wife, and the amount of fae seems ideal with the lid closed but not latched. The sub is 4” or so as well which is a first for me, I’m used to 2”

PE/pfrs second flush.. kinda thought I made the sub too wet on the first flush and that’s why they all opened their caps early so I let them go without any kind of water replenishment for the 2nd flush and turns out they just grow like that.. kind of reminds me of myself when I was young.. short, faht, and a bit weird lookin, yet lovable. I like the lil fackers.. they’re unique.

I cloned one of the bigger ones on the left on the first flush.. they look super unique when they’re mature (the flower lookin ass ones in the corner)

But they’re sporeless so I’ll probably run a few cakes because it’ll look cool as hell
These 2 guys are definitely a cross (I’d bet the rent almost all of them are and that’s why they’re so facked up )

They’re dropping purple spores and thems ain’t no PE. The cap shapes pretty cool.. might do a poke on em and see if I can catch a clone. I’m finding that if you split the cap in half, there’s a nice little meaty spot right in the middle; right above where the stipe meets that’s perfect for a poke.. just gotta be careful you don’t poke too far and pop out the side of the cap
I’ve got an F2 of a red spore dropping suspected cross on grain so that’ll be an interesting tub (hopefully)
Faht
These look a lot like a PE6 sporeless mutation I got

Love the look of the caps

I purge my 60 ml. LC.syringe in sterilize water just to give the syringe a quick rinse after I used It two months ago. I put the lid on the jar just to see what I would come up with.
It looks like something you would see In a tide pool or a salt water aquarium..

I wonder what would happen If I added some LC broth....?

Nice lil in vitro pin clone of some PF Classic. Thinking of taking a wedge from the 11:30ish section but I am still learning to read the myc so to speak. Any suggestions on other areas to take from and\or what visual cues lead to that decision?

Maybe bigfoot understands but Shu doesn't. How does the VPN get between you and your ISP?

I'd also go with anything from 3 to 6 o'clock (tad before 6 o'clock actually) and that little 7 to 8 o'clock section

So are you using smaller containers to fruit out of, the reason I'm asking is that's what I'm using right now and was waundering how to keep the fae up in them without drying them out.
