I had a bad feeling about my space heater in the grow causing a fire last night so went down and unplugged it. Hate to see how cold my room gets. There’s no hvac in that room. I tend to listen to my nagging feelings, haven’t paid it no thought for the past year.

@D3 I am cultivating in a concrete basement too
there is whole spare room down there I took over. I bought a radiator heater from walmart for like $30 or so

i love it for keeping that room at a nice temp, and I think its safer then a space heater, and it shouldn't dry my air out as much right?

I believe so, I have a ceramic heating element one. Soon as I get paid swapping it out for a oil heater. I went on amazon and a bunch of reviews for mine had burnt sockets and melted units.. a lot where using extension cords. Mine plugs directly into a gfci and sits in the middle of the room on a concrete floor so it was probably safe.

It doesn’t heat very evenly anyhow, one min it will be 70 next 78. Will probably help my jars that dry out pre-mature as well

Where'd this come from?
These bad boys are a T5 and a T9 so I'm thinking I had something on my hand or on my scalpel. These two are the only nasties from a bunch of transfers on this day.

As-per-gillus cha cha cha.  :farmerdance:

Happens to me like once every few months when I make a few unsavory moves in the SAB.  Surprised it doesn't happen every day given the levels in this house...  At least it's easy to transfer away from.

I just got some bigger centrifuge tubes for slants. It said they was pp but I see the cap has a 1 on it. Who has the over under odds on them melting in the pc? Imma stuff a couple in a jar next run and see what happens 🤣

They are karter scientific

The overwhelming majority of plastic caps made today are polypropylene (PP). Mostly has to do with the foil seals that go on top of bottles, which are heated to be applied. Since there's rarely an application that PP caps can't perform in, that's all most factories ever run.

Hey p9!
I been wanting to get on of those "Electric Transfer Tool Sterilizer" but I keep reading different things. Few people love them then I read some who say it suits and I stop doing research. Was hoping you could win me over. How do you like it? Something to thing about when ordering one? Minimum Watt or something like that? Or anyone works fine?:takingnotes:

Mine is awesome, what I love about it the most is that unlike a torch is sterilizes up the shaft of the handle. I often rest it inside of the zapper for a few seconds while my hands are busy and it sterilizes.
It was expensive but I really wouldn't go back to torches if you payed me.

Melmak plate started pinning. Looks a bit blobby. Would you clone any of these?
