introducing psilocybian mushrooms

i have some land, and i have never ever seen any psilocybian mushrooms grow there, although mushrooms do grow on the cow shit out there, i have done some research to find they aren't the right ones.
anyway, i was wondering, what if i made a shit load of spore prints, put them in a spray bottle with water, and started spraying the cow shit out there and the grass. could i possibly introduce them to my land? would this work? i don't see why it wouldn't, and i don't think i would even need to be sterile since it would be outdoor.
any thoughts?

A better idea would be take a bunch of spore prints and get one of those pump up style garden sprayers. Disperse the spores into water with dextrose or malt sugar (1-2%). Give the spores a day or so to germinate, then shake the mix up like crazy and go sprayin' patties.
Much more likely to get them to grow like that than the chances of a spore germinating on the manure and mating with another compatable hyphae. A liquid culture slurry would have much greater success. Good Luck!

well... they drink from many ponds, and i would be pretty lucky if they managed to happen to drink a spore or two... i've heard a wives tale that there is something that ranchers feed their cows to prevent magic mushrooms from growing from their shit, is this true? (i don't think it is... because other shrooms grow from their shit)

Cows eat the grasses that the spores have settled on so anyway you can get cows to consume spores is the best way to get the shrooms you want...if you can get them to consume the spores then all you would have to do is water their poo ....thats why we go looking after a big rain

Stick the fuckin spores in a goddamn turkey baster. Then feed that water to the cow like you were giving it a medicine.
Not that I have ever even seen a cow in real life.

there were 10 here for the last 5 years that I would like to see you try that with... the people that owned the cows were afraid of them, they were agressive and territorial
the best method I'm aware of is just to add it to sweetfeed, scrape the print with a knife into the feed, mix it in well and feed a few cups per day of this to the cows... dont use comercial brands of feed, there are fungicides in many to inhibit the growth of mold and mushroom spores

matts, at my place, they have the sweetfeed bins, and they don't ever really feed them hay they just eat the grass in the field.
jetblackninja, LOL, the cows at my place aren't aggressive at all, but i would be lucky to get close enough to let them suck on my baster! good idea though.
prisoner#1, you answered my question.
now, what if i did the potato water tek where you grow the mycelium in a liquid substrate then went and poured the mycelial liquid onto patties? i would need to be sterile if i did that since i would be growing the mycelia, or would it still not matter?

ok... well do i need to be sterile with that procedure? and i'm guessing the potato water tek would do the same thing? EDIT: wouldn't i need to pour rather than spray the slurry because wouldn't a spray get clogged with myc? or possibly damage/kill myc?

Hmm this post gave me a really good idea...
I got acouple horses on my land (4 of em), and they love to eat the wild grass out of my hand. What would be the best method to induce spores to some grass?

if ur going to try to introduce shrooms on the wood chips, at least try it with karo, u wont waste as much, and it has already began to germinate
