My first concert was Michael Jackson on the Thriller tour in 1984 (It was called the Victory Tour and his brothers joined him to do Jackson 5 songs for half the show.) My second concert was Run DMC and the Beastie Boys on the Raising Hell tour in 1987.

My first concert was Alan Jackson and LeAnn Rimes, with my parents sometime around 1995-ish at the mid-state fair in Paso Robles California.
I absolutely can not stand country music these days at all, it's like nails on a chalkboard to me and has been that way since I was about 13 years old (33 now)....but when I was a little kid my father listened to a lot of country music so I was into it as well. As a kid I was stoked on going to the concert lol.
It was also the first time I saw someone "famous" in person, it was strange to me as a kid seeing someone that's "famous" in the flesh for the first time. And I had a major "kid crush" on LeAnn Rimes back then lol.

In my defense, I didn't know much about them, and only went because my friend was going. His dad took us, lol. We were in 6th grade I think.
I discovered finger eleven there though. Their first two albums were really good, in my opinion anyway. Fuel played that night too, i remember them being pretty fun. Creed was pretty dull, not memorable at all.

My parents never took me to real concerts I went to a few country music shows with my grandparents though. I bought tickets to Dead and Company and saw Bob Wier. I was so high I ate like $40 of BBQ it was in Charlotte NC.
