That's what it seems like from anyone who's posted a trip report! I can't wait to try them out once I've gotten them to fruit...

Well no surface rhizo from this clone yet. Kinda looks like it’s gearing up for the overlay phase though, plus I accidentally used a lot of spawn.

Have you tried casing like pans? I'm going to on one of my trays, it might help but idk
Somebody also mentioned sand, more like a tamp casing i think.

I have blown this strain off for its low/skinny yield.
Do we have enough evidence between the users that the experience is more intense/stronger than typical cubes?

Both trips I've had were better and different than cubes on 2g or less

It is different, not cube trip or pan trip. It's natalensis baby, I make sure I never run out of it. The yield is light but worth only keeping for yourself.

Yeah the visuals for me are powerful but in a totally different way then cubes or pans.
I’ve messed around with casing and top layers but didn’t notice much. One thing that I just realized is it’s not climbing the walls yet like it normally does.
Unfortunately most of my natalensis grows were during summer with horrible conditions. I wasted so much spawn I quit everything but pans til it cooled down.
These are for sure worth running though. Plus you could get lucky and pull off a canopy. Either way these have been easily PE strength or better for me so far.

I've always said they're similar to APE. Weird and tripping AF. I want to get back to these again but still don't have the space or time for it. Really cool and interesting but its a roll of the dice what you're going to get as far as yeilds go.

Hey guys. So... Should I use rizo or tementose myc for these? I have 9 T1 showing both type of growth. I was also thinking to make some LI from the germination plate and use it to nock some small containers and see what comes out of them... For substrate I would go with 60%straw 20% wheat bran and 20% cow manure. By volume. What do you think?

You should experiment with multiple types in smaller containers and using different methods for science. I only have 2 jars and a LC going right now, but I will be doing up 9 more jars and doing this approach.

My one rhizo vs tomentose experiment surprisingly had much less overlay with tomentose.
Like I said though, one grow, so who knows. Try all kinds of stuff.

Well that's what's confusing the fuck out of me. The one tray that isn't getting totally fucked but overlay was the weak spawn I thought was either bacterial.

I was letting them colonize the bulk sub with the lids on my shoeboxes just like I do with everything but they started doing that. So I've opened em up and put them into fruiting conditions

The thing is I only have one month before I have to move. That's why I want do do something today with the MS germ plate. Hopping to get a clone and some prints out of it and enouth for a trip. And I just remembered I have some leaf litter in the garden and that's sounds like a good sub for them.

I'm about to do some stupid shit and take one of these trays and break it up into some coir. I didn't have any in there and looking back at the previous grows it looks like they all had some coir in jt

Day 6 and looks like I have germination on 4 of 4 plates. Woot. Extra thanks to that special member who shared such fertile genetics

Adding coir won’t do anything but add water and make the sub a little fluffier.
One thing I didn’t think of with manure is it’s nutritious so you can prob use even less spawn.
