I confess that many of my past problems in cult were due to not using SFD's.

Lol yea I figured they'd be fine when you said.not to worry about it but I really just needed something to do. I've been stressed to the max lately and today was my day off. Needed something to occupy my time and the rtv was just sitting there staring at me.

I confess I just dumped 24 jars because of my shitty micropore tape lids and my home made incubator ended up with bacteria in all the jars. Oh well, back to the plates I guess.

How did the MP lids screw you? I've been running MP on all my jars for a while but im tires of drilling holes in my lids so ive been slowly testing out unmodded lids... no definitive answers yet tho...

Because the temps are so low where I live now I decided to make a TiT incubator again. But I only had 1 tank so I out the water in the bottom of the tote and put all the jars on a baking rack inside the same tote and the water condensed everywhere and over a week the water with the bacteria slowly worked its way into all the jars through the MP. I opened one up and it was bubbling under the lid next to the tape, yeast.

Ahh... okay... I haven't seen too many contam problems lately... but I also started putting the lid of each petri on each jar the plate goes to... cuts down on labeling and covers the MP tape to act as a second line of defense against external invaders.

I hate rtv. Always ends up in my grain jars. And I've tried every 2+ silicone and none is great or that consistent. Those 3m sfd with adhesive needs nothing.

Don’t need the rtv, the stickers work great and seem to stick even better after running through pc. You’d have to really pick at them like a tweaker to get them to start peeling off.

Roar, please keep us updated on your unmodded lids. The idea really speaks to me. I like it a lot.

Haven't been able to justify ordering new lids for the simple reason that I like the way it looks.

I confess as I started to prepare to harvest some fruits this morning I remembered I scrapped my DIY Dehydrator and used it's parts for other projects. The fan and one of the heating elements are currently part of my greenhouse heater. I'm gonna need to get creative.

I confess that I haven't used a dehydrator in a long time and my fruits are still "cracker dry". You can dry a lot more fruits and bigger fruits with window screens and a space heater with a small fan on low. Admittedly it takes an extra few hours longer but that doesn't seem to affect potency AT ALL IME.

Oh yeah. My "dehydrator" was just a box with a desk fan and some ceramic heat emitters from old reptile enclosures. I built it out of scrap bits and costs me less than $1 to make. Honestly, my greenhouse heater may work. It's just some metal duct with the heat emitters pointing at it and a fan blowing through it. Could probably just throw the fruit in the duct and get the at least 90% dry. Maybe if I'm lucky, it will spread the spores and my cactus will have some cubes in the spring.

I confess I like to get into weird fringe shit sometimes especially if it’s plausible according to what we know according to science/physics like aliens.

Every 3-5 years I pull up this particular art bell coast to coast show from 1998. It’s about a guy who claims to be from 2063 and is part of a government time travel program.

He’s obviously extremely intelligent and well versed in a variety of subjects. He’s also either a brilliant actor/improvisation and made some lucky guesses, or he’s for real. Just about every question he answered lines up perfectly with what’s happened since and even current theoretical physics theories from the last couple years.

Next time you’re bored or super high check it out. The quality isn’t great but it does improve a few minutes in.

You cant call yourself an amateur mycologist unless you've set yourself on fire at least twice :awehigh:

I have caught myself on fire more times than I can keep track of;some of them were on purpose. None of them were cult related. Haha
