 Strange colo issues

so i had a lot of bags fail cus i followed a trusted cultivator's tek and he says to dry them in a strainer for 30-60 mins... which makes 0 sense because they weren't dried at all whatsoever and ended up crashing most of my bags
i still have these two left but they're colonizing strangely. one seems to avoid colonizing a certain spot, and both of them have a hard time gettin the bottom
any ideas? thanks!

looks off to me how there is moisture and the grains look pushed against the walls. let some others chime in as my yes aren't the best

Those bags are bacterial laden. Most likely they didn't get a long enough PC run. 2.5HR is my go to for bags.

ya def bacterial how did u inoculate? did u use agar or did u shoot dirty ass spore syringe into them?

used a spore syringe but i suppose i didn't PC long enough.
how much of an issue is excess moisture of the bag is properly sterilized? will it still be an issue?
and if these bags are bacterial, what should i do? they're almost fully colo

spore syringe is likely the culprit. spores to grain is risky and a huge no no in my book. ya it can work but more often than not u end up with exactly what u have. use agar to obtain a clean culture and inoculate with that amd im sure ul b fine

u can try n let them finish but they likey wont recover well as they look pretty wet and slimy but u can try to spawn to individual shoeboxes and c what u get

cool thx for the info my dude, one more question.. how do i prevent my pc from running out of water? i usually PC 5 3 qt bags and i pretty much fill it til the water meets the filter... should i use those jar rings on the bottom to elevate a bit?
