 clumping MEA?

So I've had this happen since a month or so after I got my first bag of MEA, it'll harden up into clumps while in storage. I've gave it a shot by heating it like normal agar making, and it'll melt down a lot, but it always seems like theres a(few) jellyous clump of mea left. Recently I just started hitting it with a meat hammer in a bag to try going back to powder, but I can only get half it it back small enough to go through my flour sifter(works great for sifting it out). Whats the solution to the clumps? just keep beating it down, or buy a new bag?

buy a new bag and make sure to keep it in a air tight container.
