Decided to put this Jalisco T1 to grain cuz it looked purty
In the past I've always been an agar nut who would go overboard with transfers before having the balls to go to grain. So T1 to grain is fairly new territory to me. My hope is to keep as much genetic diversity as possible

Yeah I was curious too. With the way phones correct color temperature I can't tell but sure looks like a blot of maybe aspergillus.

Ah I see it now. Camera angle making the center dimple in the lid look off center and causing the myc to appear to be affected had me going too, myc. Good eye bert.

Looks like I'm gonna have to be quick about it and take. T2 today but I'm optimistic that my Z Rescue & Recovery from the pin mold menace is going to be successful. I know saving intertwined myc can be a PITA at best sometimes but it looks like the good myc had just enough time to leap off and give me a clean edge to work with before the mold did. Don't think the window will last long though so need to act fast.
I may go ahead and throw my AA+ T1 plate to grain this week. It's now one of the best looking plates I have going. Need to get some grain prepped and PC'd today. Gonna be a big day for mush cult.

Ye it's a no pour cup, like Alaska said the camera angle makes it appear as if the growth is affected but it is just obscured from view.
The background is also green so Im sure that adds to the illusion.

T-1 Plate
WBS Prepped FooMan style
T-1 on Seed
Two of my T-1 plates looked good to me... so I took a couple of punches from each plate, put them on Pasty Plates and then put the pucks on Wild Bird Seed, prepped FooMan Style This is my first go at WBS but we've got the Pasty Plates as back ups if a) I was too aggressive putting T1 on seed or b) I jacked up the WBS tek.
In other news, I tried swabbing The Tribe - EOY Giveway Mystery Print!
GypsyBastard, would you add 'The Tribe - Mystery Print' to my LAGM2021 list? Thanks, man. I appreciate you putting this thread together and keeping it running!

Yeah I’m super stoked on the growth! That agar is 8g LME 8g agar and 400ml water. Seems to be great for germ. I took a decent amount of spores on the tip of the blade and gently stabbed the plate. It started off wispy then blew up one night (coincidentally after an awesome 3.5g maz trip).
I poured some green/teal plates with 5g LME and 10g agar per 400ml. Going to do the rest of my transfers on those and see if it affects anything. I dunno, just switching stuff up and taking notes
