1. End "qualified immunity."
2. Promote personal and professional responsibility.
3. When you see cops retiring over the course of this year, assume an investigative body involving the public is required.

These guys both died in prison recently, but I thought they deserved a mention here.

Stephen Caracappa (left) and Louis Eppolito. NYPD. Caracappa was, get this -- was with the organized crime homicide unit. You know what he did in his spare time? Commit murders for organized crime organizations. You can't make this stuff up.

Eppolito was a detective.

The two worked in secret for the Lucchese Crime Family, and between the two of them were charged with 8 counts of murder and conspiracy to commit murder. They would pull their targets over and either shoot them right there on the spot, or they would "arrest" them and deliver them to the Lucchesse Family to be murdered.

In 2009 they were both given life sentences. Caracappa died of cancer and Eppolito very well may have been murdered in prison, as he died in 2019 but a cause of death to this day still hasn't been disclosed.

NYPD by day, mafia contract killers by night.
