Hi everyone,
Apologies in advance for bringing such basic knowledge to the table.
First time grower and have been trying to self-manage my way through the process but seem to have stalled a bit and I'm just looking for some helpful guidance on how my grow is doing.
I'm 18 days into my grow, Mycelium has been developing well up until a week or so ago and there doesn't seem to be much going on at the moment. I know the cultivation can be a waiting game sometimes and some sources say 2-5 weeks for McKennaii but I'm hoping we're still in play and nothing has gone wrong in the process.
The big pale yellow growth showed up as a small white ball about a week ago and has developed into what you see in the picture
Can some more experienced heads lend some friendly advice on how my grow is looking please?

The black bits are just the dark flakes of the substrate but they were there when I started the grow, just seems the mycelium doesn't like growing over them. The large clot doesn't seem to be spreading to any other areas and has only just recently started to turn to pale yellow
Not sure what to do

whats the structure of it? hard, soft? could be just some mycelium mutation, but you could cut it out and see what it smells like and so on. if it smells like mycelium, fresh mushroomy and earthy, then you are good. Any stink is bad

I've tried not to touch it out of lack of knowledge mate but it's hardish to touch (through the bag) and appears a bit chalky in texture. I'm opening the bag every day for FAE, misting the bag, have a heat mat underneath at 23c, and starting using a fan throughout the day over the last few days or so.
The smell from the bag is still earthy and reminiscent of shrooms/truffles I've had previously, no immediate signs of rot anywhere.
Thanks for the advice man, I'll keep persevering and my fingers crossed

I've been using it to combat a particularly awkward growing condition. Our house doesn't retain heat well and is freezing on a morning so I thought it would be of benefit.
I've turned it off and moved rooms with the grow, hopefully that'll kick start things. Thanks again man
