Very pretty! And that stand is neat. Is it magnetic? The knives look like they are just hovering there.

Thx.

Yes, it's hard wood with a strong magnet inside. It holds knives on both sides.

Falafel are great. Vegetarian food in general is awesome.
I eat meat only once or twice a month these days.

Once you're eating vegetarian on a regular basis you start to feel how meat is simply not that good for you. It feels wrong, heavy and unpleasant.

Made a tasty sauce yesterday. Put it in the freezer, so I can defrost it whenever in need.

Two jars. The half in the right jar I cleared with an eggwhite. Almost clear but still as tasty.

Bought me a new cleaver.
Highgrade german carbon-steel, handcrafted and forged the classic japanese samurai way.
It's heavy, extremly sharp, and not cheap. Might last several lifetimes. :smirk:

MB3 Tomahawk or Dry-aged T-bone?
You may choose only one

Yeah, that cleaver is sooo nice.
It's ultrasharp and so heavy, the thickest carrot gets split just by letting it fall from two inches above.

Made some nice goulash yesterday, just like every once in a month. I always make a mix of pork and beef. It's enough for three days..
So good, I wish I could share the taste with all of you.

That looks amazing. Plates are a bit too colourful haha. Distracts from the beauty of that meal. ;p

I'm gunna have to put my next butcher purchase on hold as my freezer's motor just stopped working. So I'm left trying to clean up my old chest freezer, and that's no guarantee.

I just baked a whole wheat cheese pizza with no sauce. I guess you can call it crazy cheese bread. It's way thicker than a purchased pizza since I use yeast.
