How long before you start seeing mushrooms grow ? Is it unusual to get fully grown shrooms in 5 days ? Which is what has just happened . Thanks

There's a lot of variables. You didn't give much info to go on. If you birthed a cake with pins on it and threw it in a FC, then yes 5 days to finish growing is reasonable.

No pins. Straight from birthing the cake. Is odd as no pins formed just went straight to shrooms.
Is cold where I am now. 1 degree all I did was turn the heating off as it was really hot and substrate was drying out. Next thing I know , boom.

well it had pins. they don't go from flat to full mature in a day.

Mushrooms can certainly grow, in a day, or even hours for that matter. Pictures would help, they are worth 1000 words
