Aw cute birdie.
These guys hang around my place hunting grasshoppers. Wish I had more of them, despite the ruckus in the evenings.

Aye, especially at 04:30 in the morning. Large group of them in my local park get together for a morning choir. Can't hear them from inside but I'm usually outside at that time.
This one was also loud on it's own, the chicks make a lot of noise when they want to be fed.

I essentially have a grasshopper farm, the birds aren't doing their job.

I'm glad I'm not the only person farming grasshoppers.
I can't grow citrus or figs because of them, they just strip young trees to sticks. Avos and mangoes seem resistant, as do guava and mulberry. They occasionally have a little go at my DMTrees but soon loose interest. Probably after a couple of harsh breakthroughs they decide to take it a bit easier in life, reconsider their position in the universe.

Caught this fella just as he was coming in through my front door, he decided not to come in once he found out my house was occupied. He's definitely been inside before though, I've seen and heard 'im around during heavy rains.

We take the toadies out in the paddock and launch them into the forest with a 7 iron. They don't come back, well not those particular ones anyway.

Nah, just poisonous and invasive. Every one that lives a little less longer means other creatures live a little more longer.
