can i just take the cakes out of the jar to get rid of the excess vermiculite and put them bak in and fill the jar up with water with the cake in it? or does putting them into a separate container with water work better.  just asking cause my fridge to keep them cold is a small mini fridge and the only containers i have to fit all my cakes in and also in the fridge are being used at the moment. :rolleyes:

you dont need to put them in the fridge, especially if you use 10% hydrogen peroxide in the jars with the water... the fridge helps though but not necessary. I'm assuming that your using regular cubensis though

I use individual ziplocks for each one, but yes many people use the jars as well.
