Earlier today I wrote and deposited my last will & testament

I very likely have COVID since New Years and, being 365lbs, a heart patient and prediabetic, there is a not entirely theoretical possibility I could be hospitalized within a week and dead before the month is out, if all goes wrong.

I DONT THINK SO - but just to be sure..

I wrote my last will & testament and deposited it.

More than just goods distribution, I let it touch subjects like giving permission for active euthanasia if unconscious, organ donation, a rest period of an hour after cardiac arrest before being shoved into the corpse fridge to unwind the dying process undisturbed at room temperature (the body is a complex chemical interaction, chemical reactions being governed by temperature), rapid cremation, which music, what to do with the ashes, finally how to divide up the goods and to conclude, which online people to notify. (this community will know)

Its a sobering experience. I've never done such a thing, but its important to do them because otherwise those left behind have not a clue what to do and will second guess the decisioins they had to make ever after.

So I went ahead and did it.

Quite an experience.

I can upgrade it all I want, but for now, v1.0 is out and may it outlive those holding it.

Must feel humbling to sit there and author out your own life's conclusion. I hope you feel better soon and put the worry behind you. Is there a pool at a rehab/physical therepy clinic in your area? I have had a will since I was 18, I update it every couple years or every major life change. They're cheap, you can do the online, and in the unlikely nad unfortunate even it prevents animosity arising from death even if you have nothing, you may have told a brother you want to cremated, but your sister insists on traditional burial... avoid all the noise by getting it down legally on paper.

Swift recovery is well underway and I did an antigen test which came up negative for Covid, so its something else.
