The median time from exposure to symptoms is five days, and something like 99% have symptoms within 10. It is highly unlikely an exposure on new year’s would have taken this long to manifest
Yea everyone I know who's gotten it had symptoms within a few days after exposure. Seems unlikely the fever and aches would start 17 days later

There has been a diffused onset to this, with vague symptoms already in the first week, now, rewinding it, and the couple of whom one had it, now both have it, before me, with the same core symptoms.
Had a solid nights sleep, facilitated by 9mg melatonin as per Marik.
Feeling not so good but better, but of course this is morning.
Temperature (rectally) is an excellent 37'C, down from the 37.8'C fever I had yesterday.
I'm on full Marik minus Ivermectin, including 5 gram ascorbic acid drinks as per Linus Pauling. Twice daily a 50mg zinc is taken with 500mg quercetin.
This drink is flavored with elderberry juice, a herbal antiviral. I got unmedicated cough syrup based on pine needles and thyme, so antiseptic (Pinol, Thymol)
Today took a second 20,000 IU vit D3 as done with mildly symptomatic floor patients because Why The Fuck Not. Comprised of about 50% fat, I won't get Vit D toxicity any time too, on the contrary I was deficient because of obesity.
No valium or caffeine today but perfectly willing to take some if necessary.
Oxygen saturation 93% which is a bit low for me but not too unccommon, heart rate 75 bpm.

Yep I've kept a log for the company (per fed reg) so it's interesting to see how peoples average temp varies and also in relation to age and system compromise.

I'm on the prophylaxis Marik protocol since its inception, which I guess accounts for me so far having fairly smooth sailing, I ramped it up to something inbetween patients with mild symptoms at home, and hospitalized.
Considering it takes 60,000 IU D3 daily for months to intoxicate an adult, theres nothing wrong wit me taking a few 20,000 IU doses during the acute phase, and no reason not to follow the Linus Pauling protocol for vitamin C for influenza, especially considering they give similar doseson IV drip to the worst intubated cases.

for a rectal temp it is normal, but honestly my GUESS is that his temp doesn't usually run that high (just based on an intuition of taking lots of temps of people with various ages, body types, and medical conditions...). if that were his oral temp I would definitely consider it out of range for him, but even so that temp would never be treated with antipyretics.
asante, what's your rationale for using elderberry? I haven't looked into it in a while but I recall in the beginning some warnings being issued against using elderberry for COVID because something about potentially exacerbating some portion of the cytokine storm
I do agree with you on the vitamin C, though... IMO it's safe to take as much as your bowels can tolerate. As I know you know, we shoot a shitload of the stuff directly into peoples' veins on the regular and not only does it not hurt them, it does seem to help. I recently started taking like 6,000mg of it per day in divided doses as part of a quitting nicotine protocol and it's improved my well-being in other ways. Even at this dose I don't personally have any bowel problems.
