    #27140774 - 01/10/21 09:00 PM (3 years, 2 months ago)

I've got a shit ton invested in bitcoin.

90 percent of my networth.

I was pulling 100 bucks a day just sitting there.

Shes crashing now. Fighting for her life to come back.

HODL!!!!!!

If she gets back to 50k I think I will sell.

This rollercoaster too scary.

Pray for me.

Do you need any of it right now? Otherwise just wait until it's profitable.

Very bad to do to live on.  I personally have all my savings ($1400) now in BTC and it was like $1750 yesterday.  I keep my day to day stuff in a separate account and just put in what I am able to save and NOT TOUCH for decades.

I have been wondering if I should pull it out into cash on the upticks and buy during the low parts with that and any extra money I have.  What platform do you use btw?  I have blockchain.com but am thinking of changing.

And also Cashapp have some really good Bitcoin boosts if you have a cashapp card.  If don't and want one I can give you my referral.

What could be more wothlessness than a paper fiat currency you might ask...the answer, of course, is bitcoin. An imaginary fiat currency stored in an imaginary file generated by an electronic impulse, so I guess you could argue that bitcoin is a real physical thing if you wanted.

Humans are absolutely hilarious. I love you guys.

BTW, does anyone know how much bitcoin you can buy with a pound of refined sugar?

So clever. I'll be sure to issue you some gold stars while youre on your way to work getting paid in that fiat currency. Because we all know youre not out in a forest bartering with wood carvings and personally farmed food.

Mmmmmm. Your clairvoyance could possibly use some fine tuning. I operate the majority of my business on the barter system and get and give goods sometimes that cannot be had for cash at any price, but hey, it takes all kinds.

I have and I will, however my path is not your path, if you try to walk my path you would certainly find yourself lost.

Read some of the other forums and some of the other post in this forum .

Thank you for that compliment, may you receive a thousand times what you wish for others.

So we are talking about different paths that individuals are on. Not if fiat currency is vastly superior to bartering?

As soon as they confiscated/stolen enough bitcoin,  the USA & the world bank did a 180° and declared bitcoin legitimate, as soon as this happened I knew the market was about to be manipulated to the point of all the little guys being pushed out at a loss. They little guys that got in early definitely hit a boon.

Its your thread, make it what you want it to be.

I take paypal because of the random dude who only can do an electronic transaction, and these are definitely small transactions. BTC, much like most nonphysical items of "value" will become worthless without electricity.

Is crypto easy to trade, sure, but so were baseball cards at one time.

Is fiat easy to trade, you bet, and no electricity could effect the value of it either way. Is fiat easier to trade than bartering? absolutely in most cases this would be a fact.

Some people don't like haggling, and will pay an extra 20% not to do it.

I am not suggesting that anything is superior to anything else. What I'm saying is that I like to barter with people, especially when both parties are walking away pleased with the deal they have struck.

I could have bought bitcoin at 3 or 4 bucks, they still seem worthless to me at whatever price. Bacon, now that has real value.

the huge short term gains have been had. Buy if you can afford to hold for long term, but the best investment is to invest in yourself. Take a college course, get a computer certification, start a business, or save for a house.
