My Lincoln coffin is AT LEAST 30-35years old and it shows, but she welds like day one. My dad had it sitting in his shop not using it so I took it and put it in mine. Also got a cheap Chicago wire feed from Facebook for $80, thing was brand new the guy used it for one project and it was sitting around so he wanted it gone. Wish it had longer range but I couldn’t beat the price. Both of them come in handy around the farm, I get my money’s worth out of my equipment!

Thats where its at! I know I'm a little better off than a lot of people but when I buy good equipment I take care of it... yeah, its a little pricey up front, but they pay for themselves as long as they're maintained properly.

As roarkell said above if anyone is into distilling id be interested in your guide. Ive made wine a bunch of times from my own grown grapes and mulberries but didn't keep notes. Some of it I might remember if anyone needs pointers.

My buddy snapped a couple pics while I was building him a table... got it functional today, going back next weekend to weld in some corner supports and some angle iron for reinforcement... get to keep all the leftover sheet stainless from the top so im gonna make up some simple shelves to triple my spore printing abilities. Pretty pumped!

So I got my tractor sunk to the frame right now and got impatient. Last year I rebuilt the rear end on my silveraydo and never got around to the front diff, so it’s a 2wd currently. Backing it up in place slipped into a soft hole and proceeded to have the treads fill with clay. Tried rocking it out and when I put it in drive with the rpm’s jammin, all I heard was mechanical failure. 85% positive I grenaded my transfer case. Remembered one sitting on side of my buddys house, scooped it up and cracked it open to check its condition, he thought chain was slack. Good news is everything looked top knotch in the donor T-case. Tomorrow I’ll likely be taking a board to lay down on and pull my t-case, then bust it open on the bench and see how much damage we did!

So the transfer case is for my pick-em-up truck. The tractor is a kubota, nothing broken on it, she’s just buried down in the mud. I was impatient, tried to use my 2wd truck(at the moment) to pull it out and got that stuck. Broke something in transfer case on that.

Ah, I see. The tractor is what caught my eye as I'm looking to buy one in the next couple months. I had a Ford 8N as a project and a Kubota 2710 as my workhorse. Never done any trans work but a lot on hydraulic pumps which doesn't seem too far off.

Those kubota tractors are tough! I thought I was going too small with the 25hp but it hasn’t failed to do anything in the normal realm of a tractor with a bucket. Rear remote hydraulics is a must, best thing I ever did was buy the rear remote kit and put a hydraulic toplink. I’m lazy and got tired of stopping to adjust angle of whatever implements was on it, now I just push a lever! The 4-5acres we cleared is just soft as soft can get without being a bog, holds water really well but when it’s dry, it’s concrete.

Roark that table is sweet!! So I got my cousin over with the 45hp tractor......didn’t budge my tractor! Had to go get a big ass CAT backhoe, bout a 24k lbs machine.....almost got that bitch stuck but we got tractor out we got my truck out, and I’m pretty sure it’s the rear diff not my transfer case which reeeeaaaaallllly sucks because I just did those gears about 4-5 months back.

What kinda modifications do they need? Exhaust can be a pain in the ass sometimes...

looking to do this to both mufflers. 1 3/4 inch bypass. between the inlet and outlet. good reviews from people who have done it.
I don't even think it has to be stainless, because OEM isn't stainless, and I plan on coating them.

Haha... looks simple. Definitely isnt... does the angle from intake to outlet matter? And beyond that, getting those copes even close would take hours... its doable... but ain't gonna be a quick fix...
