First time growing and posting, have no idea if I'm growing the right fungus.

Can we get more info on your tek? Looks ok but my cobweb filter may have alerted. How long has this tub been colonizing?

I started the tub December 16th, using bods tek for agar as well. Used rye instead of oats, due to none available. Using manure/soil/verm mixture at field, no casing, no holes in monotub.

Sounds like you’ve done good work. A month is pretty long for most cubes, except PE as I’m currently learning. Did your jars shake well? At this point your in a waiting game. Best advice I got was if your sick of waiting, start another run.

Thank you, my jars were pretty easy to shake, I used the bicycle tire thump to loosen the grains. It's Mckennai that I've started, and did 15 practice dishes before using the good stuff. I just did 15 dishes of blue meanie last night.

Top left of the picture looks worrisome. Are you able to get a picture in focus?

If it's not even fully colonised in a month you need to think about starting another tub.
what were your temps?

The temps were between 70 to 73, it had a few bad days when my shop flooded, it was in a grow tent with a heater, but the flooding caused a drop in temp. It doesn't smell bad, has an earthy smell.

I'm hoping what I see is good? Decided to continue waiting, see what materializes.
