Nice FFU Mario! That's the 4x4 from Myers? Looks enormous. And I thought the 2x4 was big. You could put shelves up and be doing work top and bottom with that thing!
I really need to get me a second PC I keep needing to do jars and agar and sterile water and I just don't have enough time with one! Also about to start bags here soon now that I got the FFU and I'd like to have 10 at a time with 5 bags in each one. The productivity of that would make me drool.

The 25x I found in the trash is similar to the one on the left with the way it has been grinded down on the upper edge of the body of the sterilizer. I wonder why they did it that way?

Actually, this is the 3x4. Cant even imagine why anyone would need a 4x4. Already feel like I'm not utilizing filter area.

I have 2 921s and one is machined and one is ground like yours are... its most likely just a change in procedure at the manufacturer... im betting the ones that were ground are older. At least mine appears to be older than the machined one... plus, what company would sacrifice their product by going from a machine finish to "just grind it off and ship it out"? Not that it couldn't happen... just my 2 cents from the manufacturing aspect...

Thank you! I'm chuffed! Yeah this is all part of my first go at them.
I'm wondering whether the better flushed from these cakes is due to the proper manure rather than manure pellets or the presence of brf?

Got my first mutant. Well, aside from the few pins trying to grow upside down.
This GT I have is weird stuff, and the result of my first round of spores to agar, starting in October. I putzed around with this for months, struggling with mold issues. Then I started putting plates to grain and had some more issues. This was from a single quart jar that survived the culling seeming relatively clean. Hindsight: probably not clean. Split the quart up onto 4 quart-sized food container with coir to see if I could still get fruit.
I have fruit. Most of it is very small. This, the largest, is a mutant.

It was also super slow to fruit, and the fruits are very slow to grow. Spawned December 17.

Yeah that's what's got me wondering. I definitely short cut the pellet prep. So would be interesting to see how they go if I take my time and let them soak for a lot longer.
I had a grow in a monotub that was on straw and manure pellets, and I had spent a bit more time prepping those pellets, however, it didn't even knot. I haven't got any pans to grow in a mono yet.
