I couldn't touch my ETH since I bought in hard at 1050 before the dip. Just had to wait it out and was throwing too much cash at BTC.

Sold 25% of my DOT into this strength, more or less what I picked up @ $8.  40% gain in a couple days... definitely worth claiming.

BTC hittin' the upper bollinger band on the 4 hr, and the 9 day EMA from the underside (an indicator that has proven relevant as support on this entire run up and should therefore prove relevant as resistance now that it was decisively broken).  Thus, I would expect a pause and a bit of a pull back here, probably to around $35,000.

Congratulations on the DOT geo. I'm feeling pretty good about where I'm at right now.

I have a big buy order for BTC at 27500 with 5K funded on reserve. Doesn't look like it'll get back down there but it's on the books for adjustment later.

I feel like the market is trending downwards, probably another 20 -> 30 percent drop. Whether or not one can look at previous market trends in crypto for any sort of pattern that will happen again who knows, but market conditions looking a lot like they were back in the 2017/2018 bubble with a blow off the top, small rise again, and a massive downward fall.

@Hikeadellic

Personally I think the future for ETH 2.0 is great, but it will be a long time before the network as a whole moves to PoS. Keep in mind right now the beacon chain is online, and validators are participating in consensus but thats about it. There's no smart contract capabilities, and I don't believe you can even send transactions right now, it's just pure consensus participation.

PoS is definitely needed, it will allow for much faster transaction times, and most importantly much cheaper transactions, but I think it will take a very long time for complete roll out. Last I heard full rollout wont be completed until 2022, but we may very well reach full rollout faster than that.

Honestly I can see another hard fork coming from it, that or maybe miners just moving to other coins

Yea I wouldnt be surprised if that happens, seems incredibly likely, however I'm not sure there would really be much usage on the PoW fork. I think a lot of people in the ethereum community, especially Dapp developers, and on-chain traders really want ETH 2.0 and i think the amount of people that would be willing to stick with a PoW fork be very small, probably on the level of ethereum classic usage, which is having hard times staying afloat.

If it does its just another buying opportunity. I'm about tapped on what I'm comfortable putting out there though. Hoping BTC hits at least hits 40K so I have some play money. If not I'll have to dick around with chump change on alt coins.

Honestly I look at the etc chart and see a lot of future potential, am I missing out on some information?

The big concern with etc is that there it continually get 51% attacked, and theres very little in terms of applications being built ontop of etc. There may very well be some potential for good trading activity, but outside of that I don't see it having much use.

Well I'll be damned, BTC pushing right back up to $40K and DOT levitating to $13. Heady days are indeed here again!  When what you expect to happen, doesn't, it's important to pay attention.  The strength of the momentum here is extreme.  Still technically in a wide consolidation range off the top, but the speed of the recovery lends increasing creedence toward a breakout to new highs (to counter that enthusiasm, the volume on the move from $34K back to $40K has been declining, which is generally considered to reduce confidence in continuation).  I would still like to see a little pull back here, to create more of a base from which to springboard higher.  But I suppose this is crypto, and thinner, emerging markets will move with more eccentricity that your typical equity might.

It's been one I've watched, but volume has been lacking, which has prevented me from getting involved.  For this reason, I would be more comfortable with UNI, as it sees a lot more action and is deeply intertwined with the DeFi sub-sector in which yearn.finance operates.

This is nothing like the 2018 top at all. This is the early start of a bull run, not the end. What were the percentage gains in the first two bull runs from the previous high?  The first was 32 times and the second was around 23 times. Where are we today? Just 2 times.

Nicely done Grimsweeper.  If you're planning to put all or some of that money back to work near term, watch for a bounce on a pullback to $35K-$36K as an opportunity.

Nice gains

I should probably pull in some profit but feel like this thing is gonna keep pushing higher.

Missed out on DOT again but almost pulled the trigger when it dropped back to $8. My loss.

XTZ is moving up but it's not much compared to the others big performers.

Avalanche (AVAX) is another PoS crypto I have been eyeing that has a lot of potential in the coming months/years. It's up over 3x since late December when I first started looking at it. Amazingly, it's up over 18x from it's ICO held just last summer. It seems too high for me to bother pursuing right now but it's on my radar.
